I hear ya.. that can be fun on occasion.. I had no business drinking like I did last night though.. I was an hour away from home and drove like a moron..
Right forearm (Hairline stress fracture?). I can't curl for shit even now. About a year ago I couldn't even lift a dinner plate. I have focused more on high intensity with lower weight, but it seems limited in it's effectiveness. I don't see how I could achieve a large and well balanced frame never curling more than 45 on each arm.
Did you not give it time to heal? Did you talk to your doc about it?
For 6 months or so I did leave it completely alone (the pain required it-- I could hardly lift dinner plates), and I lost a ton of weight along the way, dropping to almost 150. It seemed to be done with.
I don't do doctors really. I come from a "medical family". All the men docs, the women nurses. I know they would just tell me to stop.![]()
Lukily I never have (for drinking/driving anyway).. public intox/disorderly conduct.. different story..
Here that crap is stuck on my driving record for like 7-10 years. It happened over 6 years ago now. I feel it's unfair I was charged up the yin-yang for it then and am still paying... It's really just a money racket for the state and insurance companies wrapped up and clothed in a sheepskin.

I have tried different grips, bars, etc. Some help, but nothing is the heaven sent answer I was looking for. Dumbbells are still the best because I can naturally cant my wrists as I please during reps.
Worse things can happen than being trapped around 170-185 at 5'7", but I really wanted 205.
Yup, all that sh*t is revenue bro.... we have camera tickets all over the place down here in DC/B'more.. no points off your license but if you go +5mph over the speed limit you get a ticket in the mail..
so you can still work bis in some fashion, just variable movements aren't an option right?
Damn that must be frustrating. I've battled with various injuries over the years, including a herniated disk which put my out for a very long period at one point.

It is what it is. I'll continue to push myself, but I need to be aware of my limits. As you said, I'm lucky to have my health and still be able to pursue involvement in fitness. I will at least temporarily reduce my goal, and I'm going to spend a lot of free time devouring workout info.

Actually I always get confused where people are from. I just remember he did this whole Australian under boob salute, and I noticed he had an under boob shot, so I assumed he was from Australia. Funny how the moment anyone makes a joke about kangaroos or crocodiles its the universal sign that they must be refering to Australia, lol.
