When you have invested enough time with this site reading, giving advice, making friends, etc that you have over 17k post, it means something.
I would listen to Ernst no matter what he had to say.
But when a Cameltail with less than 30 post strolls in and tries to put everyone in their place (which is below his high level of knowledge ofcourse) I don't take the advice as easily.
I mean, I have barely over 200 posts, so because of that, I never try to lead the way in any thread. I recognize there are alot of people on here who have more knowledge and experience than me, period.

But in all seriousness, there will always be guys here with more knowledge and experience than us. Big part of why I joined. I've even learned stuff here from teens who possess more intelligence and maturity than most middle-aged adults. Some people are here for the camaraderie and betterment of themselves and others, some... not so much.

Must have been awesome to have an opportunity to train with and/or pick the brains of some of those guys you and you buddy have gotten to meet! I wonder if some of these guys we get here would even listen to them lol.

It was awesome. I have to admit though, the truth is, as much as people preach about diet, these guys didn't pay much attention to theirs, lol.
They mainly focused on some of the longest, most intense workouts I have ever experienced, and they were on such high doses during cycle that a couple of them (I won't mention which ones lol) had a lovely tint of yellow to their eyes.


Just as a side note, in case anyone has ever been curious, the strongest powerlifter I have met was Ron Palmer. I trained with him for months, and hung out with him all day every day. That guy was a freak of nature. He would not sleep for two days, in that time only have eaten a single frozen pizza, but would still walk in to the gym, weighing in at a solid 184 or so, and do 12 reps with 405 on bench press, completely raw, then move to squat, and do 800 for a triple, and 850 for a double, then finish with deadlift, doing 750 for a double, and then burn out with 500 for 15. This is all raw, with no sleep and no food!

And the biggest bodybuilder? By far it was Dennis Wolf. I don't care what that stats say about their height to weight ratio, Ronnie Coleman was huge, but Dennis made Ronnie look like an Amateur. Dennis is also the nicest, most soft spoken and polite person i have ever met.

And if you are ever curious which bodybuilder is the most approachable, easiest to talk to, and who will actually stop what he is doing, and hold a full conversation with you, and be (or at least act like) completely interested in what you are saying, it is Chris Cormier.

They were the biggest cowards ever, they attacked us from behind, then took of when i took charge. The reason my brother and my friend went down is because they have no fighting experience, so it only takes once punch to knock them out. For me, i got hot at least 30 times, and all i got was one black eye.

Thats heaps cool IG, looks like we are on the same boat! Congrats for winning the tristate! I have a gold medal for winning the south pacific taekwondo federation tournament for the u16's in 2005. I still got the medal. I have also won countless other tournaments, but nothing big, just local state things.

No, now I'm in Sydney, I'll be in Thailand from December till January, so like 4 months away. I should have a fight in two weeks for the J.N.I Productions cage fights (non drug tested, love it) in Sydney but both fighters that were meant to fight superheavy weight with me backed off, i guess being 117kg at 9% is scary looking, haha. Actually my caliper test says I'm 7.8% now, but i don't believe it. So I'm sticking with 9-9.5%. I want to show you a picture of what my mate looked like after being stomped on but he knows i use this site and would kill me. Lol. I'll post a pic of my eye up and the police report. haha. I'm not looking forward to court though.
