no no, read your link, the link i posted was differant from your link, it was actually a link on the one you posted. read it, it says loud and clear, how about try reading past the hoax part and read the whole thingOriginally Posted by UrbanLegend
I think that this is the hoax, not the original post. Anyone can call something a hoax. If I make a website calling the need for oxygen to sustain life a hoax does that make it so? Some people believe everything they read and thats sad.Originally Posted by UrbanLegend

This quote is about the IQ's that your link says are more accurate. Does this not say that they're based of elementary school IQ tests? I would think high school tests would be more accurate. And is that second comment not the most racist thing you've heard in a while? Maybe not, but it is for me. Either way the "accurate" IQ's are not far off from the other chart. Just a few more red states higher up and a few blue ones lower down. You're still looking at a streak of red states on the bottom. These IQ's follow elementary school test results. The most likely reason for the lower IQ’s in southern states is the high proportion of Blacks in those states.

The original email with it's appealing political "story" is below the chart. The main problem with this hoax data is its overly wide spread of IQ scores. Its ranking of states is partially accurate.

IMO they're both crap, but your the one who brought it up.
Doesn't your chart say that the IQ/Income info is from 94 and the election results are from 2000. Aren't we talking about now, not 5-10 years ago. The first chart posted is current, therefore of course things are going to be different from your elementary school IQ test chart.Originally Posted by UrbanLegend
