    Difference between Ephedrine &Poseudoephedrine

    Dear Guys,
    I have a box name:
    Poseudoephedrine
    What the diffrence between this and regular Ephedrine HCI
    Please give advice can i replace?

    Good question. I know ephedrine is used as an energy booster and pseudoephedrine is used as a decongestant. But I don't have a clue what the chemical difference is.

    Psuedoephedrine is Sudafed...Its used as a decongestant by itself, or added to an anti-histimine, such as Claritin-D, Allegra-D, etc. The D ingredient is the pseudoephedrine and I believe it may be a stimulant...
