Deca for cutting

Has anyone ever used deca 400mg/week successfully for cutting for a contest with prop/v/fina. The deca is not necessary is it. The prop will most likely keep my size while preventing less water retention. Right. My brother won the light heavy's at 5'8 188lbs. He used deca till 2 weeks out, v and parabolan and looked great. He dieted on 3200 calories a week.

Thanks for the help. Can I just switch to the prop/v/fina and at what dosages? I am 7 weeks out from the show as of today. Will I need nolvadex with this stack? I'll save the deca and test e for a bulkng cycle next year.
