when he didn't get the part as the giant in that billy crystal movie, "my giant". i heard he was devastated and could no longer go on living after being turned down for such an importanat role in american film making history
He died of a hear attack back in 94 or 95 I think.
A number of years back...I think it was in 95 or 96. He was preparing to make a comeback, and rumours were that he would do so in the WWF.Originally posted by neo1605
How and when did Rick Rude die??
Due to a back injury, he hadn't wrestled for a few years.
Rick Rude died of heart failure, apparently brought on by pain killers he was taking (addicted to?). He died in his bed; he was in his early 40's.
Then again, you never really get the real story about such deaths in the paper.
I was upset over Rude's death- he was, in my book, one of the greats.
Owen Hart and Davey Boy are sore losses- Owen's star was rising, and he was a gifted wrestler.
Anyone remember Dino Bravo's death? Gunned down by mob hitmen in his Montreal home, around 1991 or 1992. He was a Great Canadian.
