    strength plateau

I've been lifting hard for roughly 4-5 years now having gone from 165 lbs. to 245 lbs. over that span eating big calories but extremely clean. Planning my first cycle this coming spring and want to throw something in with Test (most likely Enan or Cyp) to overcome a plateau in my strength recently. I have been leaning towards EQ for quite some time now for its vascularity and mild androgenic nature. However, I am open to suggestions.

Strength is a primary concern along with lean gains and minimal water retention. I'm not interested in being 270 or anything with this cycle, instead looking mainly for 10-15 lbs. lean mass with hardening and vascularity. I push it hard in the gym. I'm a huge believer in intensity and it has gotten me where I am today from a skinny high school basketball player, but despite my best efforts I am still pushing the same weight for the past few months, and my workouts are quickly growing stagnant.

I hear Var is great for strength, but extremely expensive. How does the EQ rate in this regard? For my first cycle I want to keep it simple, but I do want to throw something in with the Test to promote vascularity and hardness. Thanks in advance for the input.

for the first cycle stick to test. about 500mg/week. go w/ enanthate. eq is worthless. var isn't going to add strenght like you want either. stick to the test.

test is a great first cycle no matter what your goals are. you can really make it work for you whatever you wish to do. your diet will be responsible for a lot of that. 165 to 245 is an amazing accomplishment that you should really be proud of. your receptors are fresh so IMHO I would recommend a test only cycle at 500mg/wk for 10-12 weeks. Good luck, bro.

that's not an uncommon opinion (about EQ) but i happen to like it. I don't think its worthless at all.

Thanks Igifuno and I appreciate the kind words. I was about 180-185 after graduating high school and finally learned how to eat right and started running, dropped to 165 with about 5-6% bodyfat running 6-8 miles a day. I didn't like being that small, so I started bumping the calories and lifting heavy and the weight just came on quick. The first 20 -25 lbs with almost no change in bodyfat. Since then its been slowly plugging along for me to where I am now. Probably wouldn't mind dropping a few % in bodyfat but I like feeling full and strong and seem to deflate when dieting.

It's hard to get away from the EQ since it is relatively mild and I know some folks that love the stuff for the pumps and vascularity it gives them. I know Test E for 10-12 weeks at 500 mg/wk is standard first cycle stuff, but I don't think the EQ is going to hurt me in this case. Nevertheless, I appreciate the advice.

EQ is just one of those things, people either love it or think it's worthless in my experience.

truly amazing. you rarely see an accomplishment of that scale. That's dedication over a course of years... best of luck to you bro.

and about the eq, ya some like it some dont. that holds true for a number of differeny AAS, i like it though.. i feel as though it increases my appetite 10 fold and i get extremely vascular when on it.
