Clen is a beta 2 agonist, not a steroid. It will help burn fat but it won't do anything without a strict diet and cardio.Originally Posted by pakimunda786
Both goals can be achieved through training, cardio and proper dieting. I know that's not the answer you wanted but it is what it is..............
Jayhova is absolutely right here... even if steroids are used the same rules apply... its just easier to put on muscle / lose weight etc...
Anadrol has been known to be used by people suffering from anemia, amongst other deseases where weight loss is a factor. Anavar has also be known to be used to prevent weight loss in AIDS patients.
Swifto, i think you read the question wrong he wants to lose lots of weight and only a little muscle. and the only way to do that is what Jayhova said, diet cardio, train.

Having said that, when you say "major" weight loss what are we talking about? - if you're over 15% bodyfat then just stick to a clean diet and cardio for now.Originally Posted by NotSmall
What about those with bad genetics, where even if they do diet, cardio, and train do not get the desired effects? Won't gear help them break they're genetic mold?
When the body is in a caloric deficit it burns tissue for fuel, a carefully planned diet can ensure that the majority of that tissue is adipose tissue (fat).Originally Posted by Wesly-Pypes

I dont care how bad ones genetics are they can still lose BF properly without turning to drugs. Building muscle is a completely different story but as far as losing BF genetics wont hold you back. Sure some of us can lose weight faster then others but its science to how you can lose fat.
We all have a set maintenance of calories that we burn daily to live and function. Just by dropping calories off that number you will lose weight. Then by trainnig and cardio you will burn more calories losing more weight. Then tweaking your diet to make sure you're not storing anything will aid in better health and support the previous statements.
Here's an example: A male that is in his lower 20's and high teens of BF% has a maintenance of 3200+ calories a day or so (This number will obviously vary from person to person but we are speaking hypothetically for this example). By putting that person on a 2700 kCal diet they will lose 1lb. a week seeing that there are 3500 calories in 1lb. of Fat. Can we all agree on that?
Ok good, so by burning another few hundred with cardio and a couple of hundred with resistance training, that alone will be another pound. So just by working out and restricting calories you're already losing 2lbs. a week. This isnt even including an even more strict diet, AM and PWO cardio, how hard one trains, the calories burned that it takes for the body to repair itself. The list is endless................
So if someone is blaming not losing BF due to genetics is copping out biiiiiiiiiiiiiig time. Putting on LBM is a different story and can be difficult if the genes are not on your side. But as far as BF, it seems quite obvious...........
I take it everyone agrees with this? If so then case closed........Originally Posted by Jayhova

As much as I think this thread is over I have to give this guy the right to his thread. PM me and I'll give you my best advice that I possibly can.Originally Posted by NotSmall
clen is pretty catabolic meaning it will make you lose muscle, so using without gear is a bad choice. Try to use e/c/a, and cardio 30mins a day 5 days a week, along with weights 4 days a week.
2g protein per lb(stop muscle loss)
1-1.5g carbs per lb
low fats(make these good sources)
e/c/a
25-50mg ephedrine, 200mg caffeine. 300mg aspirin. 3 times a day.
This is totally incorrect. If you're not eating right, in a high caloric deficit, over training then yes there will be a chance of losing LBM with or without Clen. But to say that Clen will make you lose muscle is completely incorrect. Clen has actually been proven to be somewhat slightly anabolic in studies..............Originally Posted by NEW_IN_THE_GAME

I have heard this from friends that use it, then again i do belive they ATE TOO LOW. A 225 POUND GUY, ATE LIKE 200G PROTEIN, 200g carbs, 40g fat. which is like 1920 cals. so no not good. plus they did cardio like 6 days a week at 75 mins a day.
So next time just simply state that.Originally Posted by NEW_IN_THE_GAME
