you or signifigant others in nursing?

Just wondering if anyone or their partner works in the field? My girls about to finish up school, just kinda wondering what it will be like for her?

Can't lose with nursing.. Smart girl you have... I'm ARRT Certified in Radiology, i've worked close with a lot nurses. Her first few months she is gonna really really like it or really really hate it... Did she get her associates? or her Bachelors? She'll really like it after a while of being in it though, and getting used to the environment.. Can never lose in health professions... never.

In Kal the field is in very high demand. Most colleges have a 3-4 year wait to get into an ASN/BSN program. With lower mandated RN/pt ratios staffing has changed considerably in favor of RN's and to the detriment of recruiters. Big paychecks and the opportunity to jump into specialized fields far easier then in the past. I don't know Canada is but if she worked as temp in Norkal per diem she would do quite well.
