    Gear leaked out?

I shot in my right glute today and some of my gear leaked out after I removed the pin? How bad is that? I covered it up right away with a cotton ball and started massaging it. I feel like i've been cheated!

don't worry, you just didn't go deep enough into the muscle.

Exactly, and even though you feel cheated the amount of gear you usually lose when this happens is minimal.

i always go as deep as i can when i inject, sometimes u just cant help it if some of the oil leeks out, try keeping pressure on the plunger when withdrawing from the muscle, i find that this helps also

also, try using the Z-track method -- helps alot in this area. Oh yea, leave the pin in your muscle for a few secs after your done injecting.

...Did you lubricate the needle with a little gear before you injected?

If so then all you are seeing is some of the gear that was on the needle coming back out.

    Nothing to worry about.

imo there is no need to lubricate the needle if that is what your doing.

exactly, or you injected too fast and created some back pressure. Go slower next time to see if it helps, if not use a longer pin.

Thanks guys, I think I did inject too fast. I wanted to hurry up and get to the gym, because I was running 15 minutes late to meet up with my workout partner. I will not do that again!

freakin hate when that happens, but I noticed if I inject slower I don't have any/as much leakage

I agree with the above...use the Z-track method; I'm a nurse, and this is what we almost always use for deep IM injections. Look it up on the internet if you're not sure of what it is.
