im buying a 1999 ford mustang cobra with a 2001 cobra engine 35k on engine 90k on car..
i cant fvcking wait next is a mild tune supercharger and im gonna have a fun daily driver..
with the deep dish gloss black bullet rims..i was enver a big fan but they look good on this car..too bad they arent comming with the car

oh yeah the reason for the newer engine is cause the 1999's had a recall because of the rods..so they replaced with a whole new crate engine...NICE im pumped this is like recieving 45 kits on jino and 4 gallons of tren..tai can agree with me on that BWAAHA

check out the twin turbo setups for those things...bad motha poopers...6g will get you like 700hp..errr..something that = a lot and good

700hp would requie alot more than 6grand..lol the motor would'nt hold up with that power..i think the cobra blocks for 99-01 can handle about 500 with stock internals...you could do it but it wont last long..i just want to run like 8lbs boost with a safe tune not too agressive, and exhaust pretty much it im not gonna molest the shit out of it. after the 8lbs ill prolly see 425hp to the ground give or take, and still get decent gas mileage!!check out the twin turbo setups for those things...bad motha poopers...6g will get you like 700hp..errr..something that = a lot and good

I think it was for 03/04 I think they have iron blocks and are already ready for boost etc...but it was something that meant good dangit

I ordered the new one. Shelby Cobra, I put $1,000 as a deposit and hopefully I will get it this year.

um its pretty stock a few things done..
-01 cobra headlights
-shorty headers
-offroad h pipe
-4.30's in the rear
-converted from IRS(independant rear suspension) to live axle..lessen the wheel hop amongust other things
-2001 cobra crate engine (was brand new a few years back has 35k)
-rebuilt stock t56 tranny
-all around new eiback suspension
thats about all she wrote..witch is good i didnt want to buy a molested car!
of course ill do the obvious..intake..maybe bigger throttle and injectors, short throw shifter, possilby new cat back, and i really want a SC, and i want to put a 03 bumper, and maybe a few other little cosmetics.
i wanna keep it as a everyday driver but with balls when i want it..
i had a 89 but it was..
1. uncomfrotable
2. loud
3.rattly (is thats a word)
drove my friends 03 and it was nice i can listen to the radio, hear my phone, and think..and be COMFORTABLE. im going cobra because holds more value, little more ballsy...overrall i like them better

hey my GT is putting down 300 at the wheels so it'd prob beat your Cobra ;-)
the V6 is awesome, good gas mileage, its red, so all the girls love it, and in traffic i dont even have to worry about shifting its an auto!
and trust me, dont get me started with insurance haha

You're just mad because it's faster than your v8. haha 300hp puhhhlease thats nothin on a car that almost 1000lbs heavier than my car, rear wheel drive, AND less horse power. Face it, when it comes racing, imports got you beat.

supras are impressive considerign that block can handle like 1000+ hp thats just redic..they are comming back to the us soon ive heard. also the new 2007 mustang cobra is going to be fvcking sweet

yeah supras, are in there with dsm's. They just need some big sticky tires because they lack awd.
