Im curious why while on xanax or anxiety-depression drugs people tend to get fat,this meds have something to do with the rise of some hormones in the body?Maybee they have to do with prolactin or....?

it makes u relaxed and lazy...lazy people tend not to exercise as much and eat worse...this = fat LOL

actually i havent heard of this prob before but who knows maybe somebody can shed some light on this for u

I believe Celexa helps with losing weight from what I've read. Not all of these SRIs make you lazy. You got to find which one works best in you.

Stay the f#ck away from xanax, its one of the most addicitive drugs out there, before you know it you will be in withdrawl, and believe ME, you dont want that..You wont be able to make it out your front door, no less the gym !!!!

KDRLINUS getting fat on this kind of drugs have nothing to do with changing habits,i know people who gained fat pounds and they do the same things they did before medication....

Stuball you are right....is very adictive i have felt it on my own skin...this drugs make sometimes make your life easy but sometimes made it imposible..so better to live without them but i was curious wat is about them and fat

Well i can tell you personaly, i lost 30 pounds while takin 8 mg's a day of xanax i was able to function, but had no appitite, and one reason people take xanax is to fight panic disorder and anxity, the withdrawl will be 10 times worse than, the anxity you suffered before, i know this is not a drug forum, but i hear a lot of people takin xanax, while on AS, Just a heads up to all the Bro's that might not know the danger of any benzo's, some people get addicted within two months, so if you are takin it through your cycle you could be addicted by the end of you cycle, something to think about !!

No,is not why i have asked about it....i wont take it in a cycle,thanks for the warning of the widrawl....i know how it is..i used to take xanax and drink alcohol to be able to calm down,adiction is greater when it is used with alcohol...hard to stop it

8mgs a day is insane. Why were you taking that much? Surely this couldn't have been doctor prescribed.
