WTF does that misinformed bullshit have to do with anything? Does AAS abuse cause health issues, of course, but did it cause the list of deaths they show in their overhyped crapfest-NO! Does AAS used intelligently and with medical supervision cause health issues-NO!

With Medical Supervision??? What Dr. would medically supervise a patient that is taking AAS? Any responsible Dr. would tell his patient to quit. AAS use is HRT. Use to grow musles is by definition abuse.
Not to be Mr. Right about this but, this creates some concern for me. Kidney problems at 30....DAM.

Interesting that you made this statement yesterday during a discussion of AAS effects on the heart....... Also, not to be Mr. Wrong, many if not all of the pros of bodybuilding are under direct care of a Dr. This is a fact not open to question, as to whether or not any of us regular joes could get medical advice from a doctor about AAS use, read around here and you will see an amazing vaiety of threads regarding just such a thing. And if using AAS to improve my physique is abuse then I am an abuser, but since Webster defines abuse as: "2)to put to a wrong or improper use", I don't see how using muscle enhancing agents to enhance my muscles could be abuse?

LOL, Nah, Rookie, I hope I didn't come acrossed too harshly. But from the list of names in the trailer of AAS related deaths, I recognized at least one suicide, one who died of of a congenital conditions, and a couple others who's names could have been used in a film about the evils of recreational/OTC drug use. I tend to get wound up when I see such patent bullshit.

I figured there was more to the story than he's elaborating on. Hell, he's selling a video, marketed to high schools in a time when the baseball scandal has created an opportunity for this kind of thing. He says in the video that he has Alkalosing Spondilosis (sp) which is a genetic disease tied to HLA-B27...a autoimmune disease involving destruction of the joints, and probably very little to do with AAS if anything.

The list of kidney diseases and heart problems at such a young age caught y eye. Hell I dont mind dying early to use AAS, but 35 is a bit too risky for me. Which is why I asked for input.....

    Peace Bros

Anyone listen to the radio interview on the dude's website? Of ALL his issues, none sound directly related to AAS. He talks about back and joint pain. Ok, heavy weights and improper form can cause that. He had joints replaced. Again, I don't see AAS tearing down tendons, but forcing up huge weight will over time. He talks about stomach issues. From what? Test-E? Eating cleanly? What he doesn't talk about are his lifestyle, recreation drugs...on and on....

I'm not buying into all the media hype about these compounds, the deaths just aren't happening like you think. We are not hearing about bodybuilders tipping over left and right. Most of the deaths are classified as "steroid related" and steroid related is such a broad term to use. There is a big difference between coming down with health issues or a fatality while on steroids, and coming down with health issues BECAUSE OF steroids, you get my drift? And who is to say that everybody on steroids is healthy to begin with? You mean there wouldnt be one guy here or there that wouldnt have developed some sort of health issue anyways? It's bullshit man, media bullshit!!!! Show me the proof, I've done steroids since I was 19 and my blood pressure is low and athletic, my blood levels check out fine, including my cholesterol levels.

I agree....alot of the guys also did recreational drugs...too...there is just no proof of direct correlation to steroids....alot of the kidney problems were linked to diuretics and the misuse of them....leukemia was linked to growth hormone...but I ahvent seen any reports that show exactly what led to what so who knows.

Sorry you have kidney problems. You should follow your Doctors advice.

My doctors (i am 55), specificlly my Cardio Doctor told me go for it. Most
of my Doctors go to an internal medicine Doc and get themselves a test
shot on a regular basis. --They don't talk about it--

It's not for people with cancer, drunkards, or drug users. It's for guys and
gals that have dicipline and care about their life styles and want to live
    to be 100.
