Hey folks, I will be traveling to the Netherlands on business for a couple weeks, and plan to spend one week in Amsterdam for some fun. Anyone from Amsterdam that could recommend places of interest, and maybe a good hotel in town.

Red light district is where I would go first. Then a coffee shop(northern lights, white widow)

Definately go to the red light district, check out the Heineken factory, i am not really a beer drinker but the beer there is so good you have to try it, maybe because it's so fresh. Check out the green house cafe and go to the back counter for a menu. It's a very nice gothic type place and now is perfect weather to be there....you will have alot of fun!! Enjoy!! Stay at a hotel not to far from the red light district so you can walk everywhere and not worry about taking cabs, your best bet is to google hotels near red light district and make sure it's a nice place because there are some places you would not want to stay, they sell these little maps and books of where to go and the cafe's to check out, get one!!

it's the movie quitin tarantino made. Two kids go backpacking to amsterdam looking for pussy and what not (like every male does). They're told by some locals to hit up this one spot where the girls are. The girls are hot as shit, end up ****ing then drugging them. Well the girls then take them to this ****ed up place where people pay money to torture/kill people. Real good movie but real ****ed up. Enough to keep me out of Europe

I would post some pics when I return, but I think what happens in Amsterdam stays in Amsterdam.
