It seems at that level its a matter of "when" and not "if "they get caught. I hope he's innocent

Those tests are so strict. You really are out of luck if your a genetic freak. Or U spiked higher that day for one reason or another. Forget about half the over the counter remedies. Got flu? tough suffer.

He got an 8 year ban instead of a lifetime ban because this is his second offense. He tested positive for synthetic steroid substrates, he did it. Everyone wants an edge and wants to say they are clean. The guy that is screaming the loudest about keeping the sport clean is usually the dirtiest.

people shouldn't make a big deal about being "clean" if they're doping. they're just asking for trouble afterwards.

especially if they're in a sport where EVERYONE has to dope.

I don't know why they even bother with testing anymore. To get to that top competitive level, you will without a doubt, be competing against people using 'performance enhancing substances'. I think anyone who competed at that level would be dis-advantaging themselves for NOT taking some kind of performance enhancer. It seems as though that is what it setting the 'level playing field' now.

can someone say hypocrit, he says, to test him and then he fails. real nice. I cant believe he took the eight year ban, he is going to be so old when he gets back but I guess he did not have another option.

you all are right. Why the heck should they test any more. I some times wounder if the guys that are giving the test, are not doping. It is just stupid.
