how is mcg measured in a 1ml insulin barrel?? cheers
it depends on the concentration of the IGF. I make mine with 10ml of solution so the mcgs correspond to a u100 pin. 40 on the pin = 40mcg. You might make the igf with 1ml of solution meaning that 1 little tick on a u100 pin is 10mcg.
If you have 1mg (1000mcg) of IGF-1 and recostitute with 1ml of acetic acid, you have 1000mcg/ml. Therefore a u100 slin pin will hold 1000mcg at the 100 unit mark. the 10 unit mark will be equivalent to 100mcg.
Also, be aware that if you draw about twice as much BW as you do IGF, it makes for a more pleasant injection.

Draw BW with it as I mentioned above.
