    heart problems????????

im 33 been juicing on and off since i was 24. i went in last week for a stress test because i had been having this little pain on the left side of my back, the doc (endo) said my blood work at been find 6 months previous and didnt recomend anything but i talked him into having something done. the stress test showed my EJECTION rate was at 45 so they called me 2 days later and wanted me back in for an ulta-sound. the tech on the u-sound said she thought everything looked ok but the EJECTION rate was 47 which is still below normal. i had been having headaches as well for the last year had mri done which came abck fine. anyways i thought maybe id post this and see if anyone had this happen to them???? i am on test replacement and may be a little on the sleep apnea side. the doctor (endo) hasnt called me yet since the ultra-sound which was on monday. thanks for any help!!!!

I had that exact thing happen to me, similar circumstances. On easy way to monitor the condition is to measure your heart rate at rest. If your ejection fraction is low you will have tachacardia (higher than normal HR). Mine at its worse was a little over 100. I saw a cardiologist over the course of a year and have several ultrasounds that showed in the end that it was back to normal. The ejection fraction increased over the period of several months. You can never tell what caused the damage, but the docs would like to pin it on AAS. Certain viral and bacterial infections can cause it . Did you ever have an abcess that required treatment? I had one, and I am wondering if maybe that infection didnt cause the heart problem. Ive been using AAS for several years now and the cardiomyopathy has never returned. IN fact, I had an ultrasound done while I was midcycle and my ejcection fraction had actually gone up.

I have had chest "pains" on the left side of my chest, by my shoulder, for almost a year now.

I had an EKG and apparently it came back fine, as well as my bloodwork.

My doc said it could be my shoulder pain traveling to my chest or back and feeling like it is my chest or it could be my heartburn I sometimes get.

I have another doc appt soon.

I dunno, hope yer ok, its a hassle to figure shit out isnt it ?

I did forget to mention that I do go clean off of AAS for a period of at least 3 or months once I was diagnosed, just to be safe. I think if youre still using you should get off for awhile until that ejection fraction starts to come back up.
Also keep in mind that this was my case, and everyone is different. You should see a cardiologist if you havent already, and get checkups where they do ultrasounds to test for any changes. Have to watch to be sure the EF isnt going down.

IMO, if the tests were done on Monday and you have not heard back from the doc yet, you should be ok for now...if there was anything alarming about the results, I think they would have gotten back to you already.

    In either case, good luck.

thanks again for the info and help. i thought it might due to the fact i might have sleep apnea. im on test replacement through my doctor who is also an endo. im wondering if my headaches stem from poor circulation
