During an injection is it better to flex the targeted area or relax it, I have heard mixed opinions... one of my buddies even claims if you flex it rips your muscle, is this true?

injecting into relaxed muscle is easier for me. if you flex you are contracting the muscle - injecting into the space will try and spread the muscle fibers apart. don't think they would tear under normal circumstances but flexing doesn't work for me - seems like a bad idea.
You need to inject into a relaxed muscle. Contracting the tissue will only push the oils out toward the surface and potentially rip more of the fibers than need be.Originally Posted by YouAintKnow330
Relaxed !!!
You should be relaxed...
no dubt, relaxed..
relaxed.
relaxed
the muscle is still there even when it is relaxed. so yes, inject while muscle is relaxed
