Question Draw with an 18g from a multi-use vial?

So I just got all of my supplies (alcohol pads, syringes, assorted needles, etc.) and I am wondering about drawing some of the gear that I have been eagerly awaiting for a couple weeks.

It is a Test-E / EQ cycle, and my first cycle. The Test-E is in 1mL/250mg AMPs (easy enough). The EQ is in a 10ML vial, and I will be needing to draw 0.8mL (200mg) twice a week for 12 weeks. That leaves me using almost exactly 2 10mL vials.

My question is this: I have read reccomendations to use an 18 gauge needle to draw with, and a 23 or 25 gauge needle to inject with (I'm going to use 25g to inject). Will an 18 gauge needle through the rubber top of the vial twice a week (Each vial will be drawn on about 13 times) cause too much damage that I need to worry about leakage or contamination?

I bought a couple of extra sealed sterile vials just incase I notice the top getting shredded and need to transfer to a new one, but that could be too late & cause contamination by the time I notice it. Am I better off drawing with a 25g needle if I need to use it that many times? I don't have enough extras but am willing to order if it will be safer/better.

Maybe I'm just being paranoid? Thanks in advance...

you may want to split it in to two bottles..... it seems fine for me but then again there is a tiny little air leak in one of mine... i use it eod though and its a 20ml bottle.... so you should be fine... maybe hit the same hole or strategically move around the top so you don't cause it to weaken and tear for a bigger hole to be made.... should be fine with one but if you are too worried it can't hurt to split it into two.... :] gL

You really should be fine, especially if you are using two long esters (not as many "pokes" per week). Though, on that same note, I just finished a cycle of all short esters and used an 18" pin to draw and had no problems.

Best of luck on your cycle, and welcome to the darkside!

exactly. i use 18g needles to draw out of amps but i wont use them for vials anymore because they will tear a hole in the rubber stopper after a while.

I don't see why people think it's such a dark side about juicing.... I guess people that think it's a dark side think it's wrong but are doing it anyway... ? I don't know... I know the media and most people think it's wrong so I guess the 'dark side' people just go with the flow and think it's wrong but do it anyway?

22g is fine for drawing and doesnt screw up the stopper too bad. Dont understand why youre going to a 18 g. 22g is fast enough.
