Testosterone Ethan + Deca

Would like to know what the board thinks of the following and what results to expect:

Weekly injections of 300 mg Test Ethan and 200 Deca mg

Comments / Thoughts are appreciated

Dr. was going with Winstrol in place of the Deca, but I talked him out of it due to the liver issues it can create...

One thing I am worried about here is I am trying to up my test levels, and with Deca, if i understand everything i have read, it completely wipes out my own test production.

Hopefully, what the test ethan and deca provide externally will provide enough kick to outweigh this internal stoppage of production...

depends on your diet, training but your posting in the hrt forum and those are some nice replacement meds i would say

exercise regimen good. been lifting steadily for 20 years (39 years old) with moderate aerobic activity.

lately, not getting much if any improvement and looked at HRT for that and other reasons. test levels are in the 400 range right now...

body fat: 14%

i think you will see some good results especially with the improvements you mention......kick some ass in the gym, keep improving the diet gradually, i wouldnt lower your calories while on the deca...i would take advantage of that compound and try to eat just a little above your maintenance calories and shoot for a 10lb lbm gain while lowering your bf% to around 11%....can easily be done in a few months
your levels werent too terribly low but maybe they were much higher and on the decline thats why you've noticed a set back
but agree with iron....usually 300mg a bit high for maintenance replacement therapy but i've done it...just be lookin at your bloodwork as often as you can you can taper down in a few months or take his advice and start low...either way best of luck with your trt

That's allot of test for HRT, that's very liberal. I would try and start out at 100mg or 200mg and work from there.
I wish my doc was a little more liberal, I've tested in as low as 269 and it's still too high for them to start TRT because I'm not below.

I ran the exact same dosages as a 16wk cycle and probably looked better then I ever had before...I was also taking 20mg winny ed though. As for TRT, you would'nt run deca at all and 100mg a week should be sufficient to get test levels up.

Interesting. When you say cycle, you mean you took this as a AAS cycle, not TRT?

Doc is prescribing this as TRT. Maybe I got lucky with a liberal doc... But, point taken, not something to combine, at these levels, long term...

i've seen deca mixed in a lot of trt(hrt) regimines i think what he means is the deca is usually cycled in and out and is not a lifetime med like the test and i also had great results with a similar small dose of deca mixed in

Can anyone tell me about the possible sexual side effects of Deca? I have read a lot about some negative sides, but my doc assured my that combining it with the 300 mg of test i would be ok.

deca alone is stated to be a no no because of causing ed (temporary) but running the test along should prevent this...i ran deca with twice the test and had no problems whatsoever and wish i could do it again

Hey guys, I am about 2.5 weeks into this. Not sure I am feeling much other than a bit more energy and a slight increase in appetite.

How long does it typicall take to start noticing some changes in the gym and in my body?

Finally, one more question, what is the key difference between test ethan and cyp? I see most people on the boards mention cyp. Just curious, as I am new to all of this...

5 weeks, cyp and enth are almost identical. I think one has an extra ester molecule or something.

Cyp. and Enth. are very similar, but Cyp. is normally prescribed over Enth. because it will/should have a more positive affect on your libido. It might not hurt to check with your Dr. and see about switching, but only being 2.5wks. in I would give it at least 5wks. on the Enth.

Also, I'm not sure about running the Deca. while on TRT, it will lower your levels for sure. Another thing, I've always known it better to run Twice as much Test. over Deca. So if you're prescribed 300mg. Enth. a week, the max on Deca. 150mg a week. I think you'd be fine with 100mg. Deca, 300mg. Enth. or Cyp.

I personally am in TRT, on 200mg. of Cyp. every 10 days and my drive is Definitely coming back strong! Below is info. about Cyp. off this site that has some comparison of Cyp. to Enth. in the last few sentences.

Cyp has a slightly longer half life that Enth, keeping your test levels more stable between injections, so you can do injections less frequently. Thats it, nothing more.

I'm just saying from experience on both Cyp. and Enth., that Cyp. seems to ME to have more of an affect on sex drive, but everyone is different.

Bottom line, you're in TRT and with that much Deca. each week I'd be suprised if your libido comes back.

then again, if he's with an anti-aging clinic, i think they use compound pharmacies, which make whatever the doc tells them to.

Thanks for the feedback. Florida compounding pharm for scripts from anti-aging clinic.

I will keep posting on results (both gym and libido related). Libido isn't what it once was, but OK. More interested in the gym and my energy results...

Sounds like week 5 is the consensus on when you start noticing changes.

My doc discouraged me from including Deca with my Test Cyp. But 100 mgs. of test and 100 mgs. of Deca per week is my HRT regiment in a nut shell. I need the Deca to stay healthy enough (in my joints) to train the way I want to. It really keeps my cardio on point because my knees stay pain free. Just one man's experience. I have to note that I've never had ed symptoms even when I wasn't on HRT (libido has been fine), my usage was for low test blood results and syptoms of lethargy, recovery after training was almost nill, and just a feeling of being tired all the time. GTOne that is a cycle. NOT HRT. If you are in doubt of this have extensive blood work done and you will see your levels off the charts. Not trying to be a prick. Just stating a fact.

I have blood work done every 4 months. This cycle is for 10 weeks with PCT for 10 days, then move on with what makes sense from a HRT / Stack (whatever you want to call it) perspective...

I would think / hope they would be off the charts (should be with that amount - though not as high as would be a typical full out AS cycle).

Starting to really see a difference in the gym, and in libido. I am now 5 weeks in. I have gained around 5 lbs, and still feel leaner.

GT...still same diet? did you add any calories to it? if so...were they all clean calories?

Definitely eating more, but keeping it as clean as i can. Trying to incorporate as much protein as possible. Still have a weekly cheat meal, but other than that fairly good (diet has been ok for the past 2 years, but definitely still have those days where I feel like splurging a little... - keeps me sane...).

a little better on the joints - not as much yet as I hoped for.

Interesting - just as I wrote a couple of days ago that I was starting to see a difference, all of a sudden, people are commenting left and right. Was at my parents for dinner last night with my "large family", and recieved a few comments around "you lifting heavy again", "how much bulkier do you want to get?". Haven't heard stuff like that since college...
