why is this happening?

So I finished my cycle of deca/sust. 6 weeks ago and I am still getting acne popping up! I took nolvadex for two weeks starting on the third week off which seems to have done the job as I havent lost but a pound. I noticed some acne starting the last week of the cycle(8weeks) but why is the acne so bad still? Ever happened to anyone?

Its estrogen related sides. It will go away once your blood levels straighten out.

Once your hormones get back to regular, acne should disappear. How do your treat it now? Antibiotics?

I always break out weeks after my cycle. (never during). The only way it goes away is if I go back on!

Deca was the worst for me when it came to breaking out. I did Deca once and probably will never do it again.

hmmm..I never thought it could be the deca. Maybe I'll try test only the next time around. It sucks cause I don't even want to wear a sleveless shirt

its not so much the deca as it is the hormone imbalance. I start breaking out about a month after I stop any cycle and continue to break out for a month long, no matter what I took during the cycle. You go from completely shut down (but test replacement) to absolutely nothing (but with the hightened estro). Sucks and there really isn't much of a way around it. Just have to wait to even out the hormones. Been happening to me for 5-6 years while in this game. Just run a proper PCT, and if you can suck up your pride, buy acne clearing concealer. Won't make you less of a man, lol.

haha. Go to walgreens, or hijack any female's make-up kit. It conceals and eliminates pimples. I think nutragena (sp?) makes it.

pct is 60% of your recovery, the time off afterwards is the other 40%

Get some acutane. I hate that stuff. it has horrible side effects but it cleared up my acne for about a year. on and off cycles.

I took that back in 2003 or 2004. Hardly got it due to heightened liver bloodwork from DBOL. Crazy stuff, horribly chapped lips, bloody noses, but it most def did work. It does end up wearing off at some point though. I started getting acne back again probably last year, and the pills ain't cheap. Not nearly as bad as I used to be though.
