Forum Trick

i don't know how many of you use this already, but i've been using it on forums for a while and it works really well

basically, instead of trying to find the threads you've replied in by going down the list and looking for the arrow thing, a faster way is to do this

1) go to the search function at the top of the forum next to new posts

2) click on "search" and go to "advanced search"

3) in the second blank that says "search by user name"''' put YOUR user name and search

4) the forum will then give you a list of all the threads that you have posted in and will bold the titles of ones that have been posted in after you

it will also put them in order of last posted in so the threads at the top will be the latest ones


anyway, this makes things easier for me if i haven't been on in a couple days or so

phate, even easier way, just click the persons name and then Find all posts by ....

Yeah that or if your looking for your own:

1. Login
2. Click on your name after "Welcome, xxxxxx" on the top right.
3. Click "statistics" in your profile.
4. Click "Find all posts by xxxxxx" or "Find all threads by xxxxxx"...

I just used the trick today and it does save alot of time. I'll try the other trick too.
