Did Nolvadex ruin my Sex Drive On & Off cylce!?!?

My 1st cycle I ran Test@430mg p/w and Dbol@25mg p/d, along with 10-20mg Nolvadex p/d to keep water off & estro sides down....In retrospect, I should have just waited to see whether I actually needed the Nolva, but I was over-cautious as it was my 1st cycle. Anyhow, on-cycle my Sex drive lessoned somewhat,- I put this down to the AS, and if anything, thought it would have been much worse without the Nolva.

The PCT was kept simple,- 40mg Nolva p/d for 2 weeks, then 20mg Nolva p/d for a further 2 weeks. - It may be worth noting that my sex drive went up initially with the 40mg dose, then dropped sharply after about a week of it, and was low for the rest of the PCT.

Well, I finished the PCT 4 days ago, and the thing is, as soon as I did my Sex drive suddenly shot up to about where it is natty, whereas it'd been impaired during the whole cycle & PCT (although during PCT it was expected!).

From this experience I'm left speculating that Nolvadex may have been the culprit for the low sex drive on & off cycle...But is this possible? Has anyone experienced a similar effect from Nolvadex supplementation On-cycle OR during PCT?

im doing PCT currently, even though im on HRT....i just dont like being on for the rest of my life...and gives me a chance to stockpile the prescription while im off

im doing nolva/clomid for pct, and my drive even when off the test is ok, and im 3 weeks into pct...

but, everyone reacts differently... it could be how your body deals with it!

Cheers Nicotine. Maybe I should just try a Clomid PCT next time and lay off the Nolva On-cycle as well. I'm going to be running Proviron@50mg p/d On-cycle next time anyway, so I'm hoping that'll take care of any mild Estro sides, and if I need something stronger, I'll try adding/swap for Arimidex.

The thing I'm worried about is that I've heard that AIs are much more suppressive on libido (to those who are sensitive) than SERMS, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Anyone out there with a similar Nolva experience and/or knowledge to shed light on this issue???

i dont see nolva causing that esp on cycle ..id suspect free test levels low ...high shbg ...proviron is my recommendation. substituting clomid will just give you a less effective serm and more potential undesirable sides...id stick to clomid nolva combo pct (many times "simple pct can = not effective pct...JMO).... maybe throw in aromasin in pct as well ...or clomid nolva proviron may be better considering this experince
