    hmmmm soup

jus wondering if i added a scoop of protein in2 a bowl of tomato/vegatable soup would this be classed as a meal, id also have some brown bread with this, if any1 adds protein to there soup could they let me no if they add it straight to the soup when its hot or add soup and protein to the blender so it mixes properly, am just asking because im tryin to adda little bit more protein into my diet, thought this could be a good idea

well to be honest it would taste a little weird wouldnt it ? i mean what flavour protein have you got ? i have chocolate WPI and i think it would be quite funky in a bowl of tomato soup , but that could be classed as a meal if you were to add some steamed vegies to it , tatse pretty weird but it would be rich in nutrients and protein ...tell me how it tastes

No that's not what a body builder calls a meal. "protein powder" is not "rich in protein", real meat and food is 10x better. And second, this is not in the right section.

yes real meat is far more richer in protein but when your having 7 to 8 meals a day its a bit hard having meat 8 times a day , it is still quite healthy and if you do add say 2 scoops of protein powder to your soup that would roughly be around 35 grms protein just from the scoops , if having brown bread with it that would be quite filling , maybe for the second meal of the day or last ? im not sure because ive never tried it but give it a go and weigh up all the carbs and proteins in that meal and see what it looks like

Sounds like it would taste wierd. Why not just put a scoop in some all natural yogurt.

Dont eat the soy protein!! Unless you want to get in touch with your feminine side, as soy protein is estrogenic.
