    Porridge, grits, oats. All good.

Just make sure they don't have sugar.

I eat carbs all day, everyday. Only because I am bulking though. Usually morning, pre-workout, post-workout, and PPWO. Depends on when you need energy, and what you're doing that day. I usually don't eat too many carbs before bed.

    depends on the goals

i'm in the most strict portion of my cutter so i eat fibrous veggies in every meal except pre and post workout, where i eat 30 and 40g of complex carbs respectively

pre and post workout are the most important times, followed by breakfast. other than that, you can have them whenever. there is zero truth to the "no carbs before bed" myth

whats your reasoning behind the benefits of carbs before bed? i only see carbs useful PWO meals, pre workout, and breakfast. later in the day if they are used to replenish muscle glycogen after you but then again to fully know how many carbs that is, it would have to be a perfect science...

it just depends on when u train. if u train in the evening, you can drink your pwo shake, and eat your ppwo meal, which should both have a lot of carbs, and because your body needs, and is utilizing those macros, it is believed that they will not be stored as fat.

i agree 100 percent. im talking abotu the example if you work out earlier in the day, then what the hel is the benefit of carbs late at night before bed? the only way i can see this being good is if those carbs are replenishing glycogen, but then again that would be a perfect science and probably imposisble to find out.

not really, they are normally made with low quality protein(like whey concentrate and casein caseinate) plus they have lots of binders and fillers that are not needed and use palm kennel oil(the only saturated fat that's liquid at room temperature) and low quality carb sources

but you can make your own

yeah carbs at night doesn't really make sense to me. It's like women and children first on ships.

i didnt say it would be beneficial. I just meant that if you still havent hit your carb macro for the day, then dont be afraid to eat however many carbs you need to reach your daily goal even if its before bed
