I'm on PCT and my son has a procedure tomorrow. I hope I don't lose it!!!

Well, they think my son has Celiac Disease as he is underweight for his height and weight etc among other things. He's 18 months old and we have to bring him to the hospital tomorrow morning so they can put him under and do a colonoscopy and endoscopy to see what is going on. Needless to say I'm nervous about his going under (Although it will be his 2nd time) and last time I completely lost it. The good news is that I'm a week into my PCT and get to go through it. I have a feeling I'm going to be whining like a little baby tomorrow.

I know I'm a *****!!! But, I love my son more than anything in this world so it's OK to be a *****. HAHA

For those of you that aren't familiar with Celiac Disease it's basically an alergy to Gluten. If he does have it he won't be able to eat any foods with Gluten in it. It's 100% controlled by diet. If he has it I guess he won't be a probodybuilder. HAHA

If he has celiac disease, which I pray he doesn't, then he very well may have a greater chance of becoming a BBer haha. That means he'll learn from a VERY young age on how to manage diet and that is half the game bro.

My mom has it, and she's SO much happier she found out. For years she struggled with weight loss and digestion problems. Be happy that your son is undergoing this now, instead of when he's 50 year old and living an uncomfortable life, like my Mom has.

Since celiac runs in my family, I don't even eat gluten, even though I can and be fine. It feels great and my digestion is super clean. Everyone on some level is celiac, as the proteins found in wheat are just not meant to be digested. The gliadins form like glue and act as opiates so we crave them, when really all they do is harm.

Be happy! You're son will be just fine I am sure! Good luck to you both. Live long and prosper.

Thanks for the kind words and it's good to hear they got things straighted up for you and your family. Both my wife and I have to get checked for it as well if our son has it because chances are strong one or us has it as well. I have digestive issues and acid reflux so I could easily have it as well.
