god u ask alot fo questions

    cardio is healthy yes

but if your wanting to bulk u shouldnt be doing alot of cardio

20-30 mins a day is more then enough while bulking, itll help keep u fit during ur bulking stage

to much cardio will hinder your gains that simple

more cardio means u burn more calories, hence ull build less muscle

alot of people wont even do cardio when their bulking heavily (myself included)

its relative to your specific goals, the type and duration of cardio, and your diet.

45-60 min is fine while bulking, as long is it's low intensity (65-70% MHR) but I do it only 4-5 days per week.

You can pretty much do as much as you want as long as you stay in a calorie surplus. I would recommend at the very least a moderate amount of cardio, say 300 minutes per week be the minimum you do.

fireguy hit the nail on the head again hehe, beat me to it.

Really it all depends on your calorie intake, if its matching your cardio output then there is no problem.

you can have less calories and do less cardio, or do more cardio and have more calories.

But i would keep the intensity at moderate, to low ..

There is no exact answer to your question. If you are bulking (god, I hate that word) I would do as much cardio as needed to keep my bodyfat under 15%. If you are cutting you do as much as necessary to reach your goal. For some people 12% is lean, if that's the case you might not have to do any cardio at all.

25-30 minutes just seems way too low but I guess it just depends on the person.

    omg

OP what were trying to say is U DONT HAVE TO DO CARDIO

people do cardio on their bulking cycles to either help them stay lean, maintain some fitness and cardio vascular health

remeber if you do cardio, you will burn more calories, if you burn more calories you are less likely to get fat, but ur also less likely to gain muscle since muscle growth requires more calories

if your already fairly lean then you might not need to do cardio, becuase your able to maintain a low bf% naturaly

other people might not be able to maintain such a low bf% and require cardio

u should know your body by now

IF you think your pretty lean and wanna bulk up avoid cardio,

if your bulkinf up and you find that your gaining abit to much fat, or loosing alot of your fitness then intorduce 20-30 minutes of light-moderate cardio a day

if you still find your gaining fat raise it to 40mins

IMO if your bulking and doing 40mins of cardio a day, and still gaining descent amount of fat then you probably need to alter your diet by dropping the calories a little

the idea is to monitor yourself

however if your going to be doing your first bulk cycle on test, and your already pretty lean i would personaly do 20mins of LIGHT cardio a day just for your cardio vascular system health

your goals are to put on muscle, dont worry about doing lots of cardio, remeber your goals to put on asmuch muscle as possible

cardio is only going to make that goal harder becuase it going to burn more calories, meaning ull either gain less muscle or need to eat more to compensate for the calories u burn during cardio

just monitor ur body and let your eyes be the judge of whether or not you need the cardio
