I've been training naturally for 3 years now, in that time I've gained a decent amount of lean tissue. I'm currently 196lbs around 10-12%BF , 5ft10.5in.
I've been spending the last few months preparing for a first time Test only cycle.
At the moment I weight train 5X week, training single body parts. Sessions last between 50 mins to 1 hour 30.
Just looking for some advice regarding my routine once I start cycling.
How much if any do I need to be increasing training frequency? Or shall I just keep the same routine now, trying for incremental increases each session for overload and hypertrophy?
every 2-4 week's I'm swapping around the main exercise and placing small variations to prevent a plateu.
At the mo it's like this-
Mon-Chest,Ab's light
Tue-Back,Calves
Wed-Arms,Ab's light
Thu-Rest
Fri-Shoulders,Ab' light
Sat-Leg's
Sun-Rest.
I was playing football Thursday nights and sunday mornings but the season is now over, I'm thinking of going Muay Thai 1 evening a week to bring in some cardio.
Any thoughts on my ideas much appreciated!
