Lots of energy after only two pins?

I posted this in the TRT forum, but it was suggested that I post here since my dose is higher than normal.

I am 42. Lifting since 16. No cycles. 5' 10", 200lbs, BF in high 20s but coming down steadily (I gained weight recently and am shedding it now).

I am doing 200mg twice a week and will be doing my third injection tomorrow. I have always heard that it could take a few weeks to feel anything, but the past two days (following my second shot on Sunday) I have had LOTS of energy. And today I feel hot. It actually feels a lot like when I did ephedrine back in the day. Yesterday I figured it was a fluke, but today it seems like I am trending. It feels good, so it isn't that I am worried, just curious.

Did most everyone see their energy jump? And how soon?

your on a prescribed 400mgs pw trt...wow. elevated body temp i something i experianced with the first couple of days with test.
and that pep in your step just culd be your new positive outlook on things now that your getting help.

My doc says she is comfortable with athletes and people with long lifting experience being at the top of the acceptable levels. She said she will not let me go into the 2000s or anything. I am not sure what numbers she will want me to stay at, and I doubt I will be at 400mg past my first blood test.

I think she didn't believe me when I said I had never cycled and she is being flexible, but with an eye on safety. Maybe it was when I asked if I could self inject, or when she asked if I needed to be shown how to inject and I said "no". Her way of communicating changed when she realized I wasn't just an old guy looking for some new-fangled treatment. I have been researching this for twenty years. By the end of the visit it was more like talking to someone here on the forum than what I expected from a doctor. She knows her stuff.

I am supposed to hear from her tomorrow regarding my pre-injection test results to see if she wants to prescribe something. Then we will test levels in three months, or earlier if I want to, especially if I feel anything strange. I wanted to get blood work done in 4 - 6 weeks just to see what is going on. Once again, she seems to be giving me some flexibility rather than saying I should be tested every month. Is that good or bad?

well at 400mg for sure getter dun SOON maybe in 2 weeks...everybody is different but i'm sure if you run that high a dose long enough you'll need an AI for a good test/esto ratio...i think flex is good with a doctor..spesh if she's leaving it all up to you

I am going to drop down to 200mg, get blood work done, and then have a talk with her about bursting to higher levels. That way we are working with good information, and our communication won't be obscure. I am all for flexibility, but I want clarity on this.

She said she would perscribe something for estrogen if needed, and for me to watch for testicular shrinkage. Should I ask up front, or wait for test results?

if it were me and seen what i've seen happen to myself and read countless posts of the same....i would get on soon...

to keep your test levels in range you will have to cut back even a little more as the hcg will give u more of a boost and quite also possibly effect estro as well....

unless u wanna see them go away first then play magic trick later??

I assume your using a long acting test like CYP or ENAN?
Usually those take awhile to kick in,,but if your levels were
real low its possible to feel the effects. Quick acting esters like
PROP you will feel real quick.
