getting a cold after working out

When ever i go heavy(4-6 reps) for about two or three weeks i wake up in the morning with a stuffed up nose, sore throat, and fatigue. This is even while only training 3-4 times a week. During the day i have no symptoms of a cold, just when i wake up. I dont think im overtraining because my lifts go up. Whats up with that? Is it because im hitting the CNS hard? If I lift in the 8-12 range it doesnt happen. Lifting heavy is awesome and im not gonna stop but does that happen to anyone else?

Sounds like you are not drinking enough water or you may be sweating to excess. If you are drinking enough water then try drinking some coconut water during your heavy days. Has the nutrients in it you may be loosing from the sweating.
