Quick Question On What Bloodwork to Order

Short story is, I went for a annual checkup with my dorctor. Had Blood work done. Everything came back good EXCEPT Testosterone levels. I'm 39 years old and my test came back at 360. My Doc refered me to a urologist and I have a appointment in 2 weeks. I would like to retest my testosterone levels before I go. Would this (link) test be sufficient or should I look at a different test? I would perfer to go through this company. There local.

I've already found a doctor and had bloodwork done. I'm looking to do independent bloodwork before my appointment and was wondering if that test in the link was sufficient. or maybe its lackinging something and there a more comprehensive test that could be done

Just out of curiosity, I'm kind of wondering why you're looking to re-run a lab independently before seeing this urologist? I presume the intention is that he/she will review your situation, then he/she would dig into it deeper with ordering additional labs & exams if needed? Unless you are maybe presuming that this urologist isn't going to do anything more than work off the total testosterone serum lab that you already have? If that were the case, I might be looking for a new medical team that can diagnose and treat you sufficiently.

Good point Vette. Also you might consider checking your vitamin D level while your at it. Most everyone is deficient and it does play a part, albeit minor, in testosterone levels.
