Special ed. is not just mental dsabilities. Often times it's kids who simply have a tuff time learning in a normal class room setting or even (I ma gueeing in Julio's case) are lazy punks that don't try in class.

I know what you mean dude, almost none of the kids in my hs special Ed had any actual disabilities, aside from add, they were more just little trouble makers. But the teacher shouldn't be acting like that he should've known that something like this would happen

Another reason why I would/should never be a teacher. I dont have patience for stupidity or lack of trying and would probably get arrested for slapping some dumb ass kid.

I agree the teacher should not have lost it but I bet it's been a long time coming and the kids know how to push the right buttons. Special needs my ass, most of those kids need some good discipline and learn consequences for actions and instead of a SPECIAL class they need to fail and re take the class until they pass or become a janitor or laborer in the work force. Not everyone is cut out to be a CEO or Tech.

ADD what a BS excuse. I have had ADD forever but when I was in school no one knew what it was. I had to read the same page 3 or 4 times before I had a clue what I read. Such as life and I made it. Instead of using things like ADD as an excuse (everyone has one) learn what you need to do to work around it. I have a buddy who missed 2/3 of his high school and junior high due to migraines. He made honor role most of the time and managed to have a normal life as best he could.

Special needs should be limited to physical disabilities, mentally challenged or other such true disabilities that kids have no control over.
