Thread: Not lifting when on deload

    Not lifting when on deload

If the point of the deload phase is to get your levels of hormones low so your receptors can adapt, would it be beneficial to not lift at all during the deload (since lifting causes your body to produce its own test and growth hormone)? Anyone tried this?

Not lifting after finishing cycle will just cost you most of your gains

I would lift lighter and more reps. Keep the blood flow and stretch during this period. Its the pushing heavy weight that the body needs a rest from. Light weight is not going to recruit new fibers.

Thanks. Do you ever feel like you don't have to motivation to go to the gym when on deload?

I don't know much about deloading. Sounds like some natty thing that doesn't work too well.

But yeah, even on cycle it can be beneficial to take a week off here or there if you're getting burnt out.

Deloading?? If you are refering to taking a week or two off of training.

I know a professional natty bodybuilder who do that and is a truly believer of that method and do it.

IMO he is the best trainer around, he is VERY knowledgeable.

Natty, I think its a great tool to build muscle, for PCT it seems like a bad Idea...

    Just my .02
