So, I ended up with a double infection that I'm currently fighting off. I've been using from the same 20ml vial and I used 17mls from this vial without any issue. Last Thursday I did an injection in my right delt and I ended up with some serious PIP over the next few days. I then did my Sunday night injection in my left delt and by Monday morning my right arm was swollen, red and hot to the touch. I went to Urgent Care and they diagnosed me with Acute Cellutius and put me on antibiotics. By Tuesday my left delt started getting infected as well.
Now, I'm VERY careful when I inject and I take every precaution etc. I figured that my gear got contaminated at some point but then I was thinking..... I have a tooth infection from a cavity and I'm curious if it is possible that the infection attacked where I injected because of the open wound? If my gear was contaminated get-go wouldn't I have had issues weeks or months ago? Someone mentioned that sediment could have settled to the bottom of the vial and with such little left it got pulled into the syringe and injected in my body.
Any thoughts? Just trying to figure out exactly what happened or could have happened so that it never happens again. I'm also on TRT so I'll be injected twice a week for the rest of my life so I don't want to repeat this process again.
