actually I am not sure if this is true. I read a study where over 60% of people in the US don't have the proper bacteria in their gut. Not only is it usage of antibiotics, but the amount of antibiotics in the food supply. Another study seems to point to genetics as being a factor. People who have low bacteria counts seem to have children with low bacteria counts even as fetus's and very young children.. (yes I know children and babies have less bacteria in their gut than adults, but they have a standard measurable amount I am sure, which is what the studies are referencing)
