Your have to believe in yourself otherwise u will never gain. Took me a long time to put up 315. One day I got in a good mind set and just did it! U have to do the same.
(Not telling u to just throw on 100 lbs and just do it. I'm saying believe in yourself)
dont hurt your shoulder or it'll give out on you before your chest does on chest day...
supposedly, the negative portion of your rep puts more strain on the muscle than the pushing part. that's one reason why form is so emphasized. i really like the strain a really good negative puts down. slow down. dont worry about consistently putting up big weight for high reps. if it's big let it down as slow as you can stand.
rep ranges 0 -9 hypertrophy i just read
anything in the triple digits is pushing for endurance.
exercise variation.
Jay Cutler said that the only way one can overtrain is if they don't eat. i believe overtraining exists, but it isn't as dangerous as it's made out to be or as easy to do. endurance and plateaus vary. many guys say that you don't have to get sore to make gains, but being sore indicates that you have broken down muscle tissue. it rebuilds stronger after being broken down. if your not sore that's the current plateau you've chosen to allow yourself to be at.
