Thread: Asprin

    Asprin

Hey everyone newcomer here, I just got off my first cycle and am cruising now. I ate a horrible amount of eggs with yolk and cholesterol is high. My question is about Asprin for keeping my blood thin & if that’s ok, until I can donate platelets again. Or if there is anything other suggestions

    Thanks

    You’ll b fine - a 81mg baby aspirin daily wouldn’t hurt tho + donating blood helps

The steroids are far more to blame than the egg yolks.

How much does cholesterol in egg yolks actually raise our cholesterol?

I didn't see your Cholesterol levels, but if you are over 30 you should be taking 81 MG of aspirin every day. Cholesterol should be under 200, the lower the better. LDL is the one to watch out for. I believe the new guidelines are LDL under 70. I am currently trying to drop mine. I am sitting at 138 LDL and a total of 190 Cholesterol. Red Yeast is a supplement that my endocrinologist recommended I take. She also recommended I go to a totally plant-based diet (that shit is not going to happen) but I can say that niacin did nothing for me but make me flush. Bulk fiber like Psyllium in my protein drinks has worked well in the past, but you have to drink that shit down fast.

As far as donating blood, this will only drop your H&H and have no real effect on your Cholesterol. Hope this helps

Red yeast rice is great for lower ldl numbers, i lower mine from 172 to 80 eating daily 3 eggs and 1-2 meals Per week from McDonalds and 250 test 250 deca week cycle ,with statins the lowest was 108 but with a lot of side effects ,after heart attack i was told that i need to take statins for the rest of my life but after having alt elevated for one year after stopping i switch to one protocol found on this side and i have the best colesterol numbers but is important to have the main ingredient monakolin k ..

Careful with Red Yeast Rice, the active ingredient, monacolin K, is identical to Lovastatin. Statins are very easy to get a prescription for and are probably covered by your health plan, and Lovastatin would not be one of my first choices of statins, I would prefer one of the ones that doesn't pass the blood brain barrier for sure.

If you have the option, go pharmaceutical in this specific case.
