Hey guys,
It's been a while I posted anything here, but I'm finally back to bodybuilding, and hopefully now nothing will stop me to reach my goals.
My stats are 27 yo, 6'1, 207lbs, around 10% bodyfat, started training 2,5 months ago with ~174lbs. Stopped training more than 2 years ago, at 250lbs with probably like 16-18% bodyfat. Goal is to become a pro in the next 2-3 years.
My cycle is very simple now: 600 test e, 450 deca, 4iu hgh ed. I just started the gh a week ago, deca 5 weeks ago, test when got back to the gym.
I train something like PPL, where every last set of an exercise is a dropset. For back and chest the last exercise is actually a superset, so it's 4 exercise in fact.
Monday 3x4 sets back/ 2x4 sets bis/ 4 sets traps/ 4 sets rear delts
Tuesday 3x4 sets chest/ 4-4 sets front side delts/ 2x4 sets tris/ 5-5-4 sets quads,hams,calves
Thursday 3x4 sets back/ 2x4 sets bis/ 4 sets traps/ 4 sets rear delts
Friday legs 4 sets hack squats, 4 sets leg press, 4 sets pendulum squats, 4 sets rdls, 4 sets leg extensions, 4 sets leg curls, 4-4 sets abductors adductors, 4 sets calves
Saturday 3x4 sets chest/4-4 front side delts/ 2x4 sets tris
My workouts were always in the 2,5-3 hour range, when I was 250lbs, and they are also around 2-2,5 hours now.
I always see the pros who do a split like me, doing 3x3 sets for big muscles and 1-2x3 sets for small ones. Is that really enough for bulking?
I just got home, tried that kind of workout. Finished training, did 3x3 sets back, 2x3 sets bis, 4 sets rear delts, 4 sets traps with the same weights/reps than before, but without dropsets or supersets and finished in ~75-80 mins. I have remorse, that I didn't do enough.
Is it really what's the best to grow? It doesn't seem enough after training for 2-3 hours/session in the last 13 years lol. Maybe that was always the obstacle to grow further?
