protein.... and maybe some aminos.
get mineral ice or icy hot.. them **** own right after leg day..
Plenty of Glutamine, carbs and protein. And if you got it lying around, some ZMA.
thanks I gotta do away with this pain
Be a man, suck it up..........I wake up feeling like a train wreck most days.....
this is just for you![]()
LOL @ Da Bull
Looks like you playing the Violin? You play the 'flute' too or what?
Haha
When i first went back to the gym and did bi's I couldn't lift a coke can or straighten my arm for a week. That crap will go away soon it's just annoying cuz you feel like someone slammed the inside of your elbow with a bat and the ligament is tied in a knot.
just getting back into it you have 2 expect that...its not like your muscles sustain that kind of strain during every day activities...it'll take a few weeks for them 2 adapt 2 that kind of workload again. carbs, water, and a multivitamin are what ive found 2 be 3 key ingredients in aiding recovery..especially after lay off when you need em most(jsut hittin legs again now after a 4 month lay off...4 days after squats, i still had trouble getting out of bed this morning)
peace
tank
tank hit the nail on the head...you have to expect it while getting back into it, especially if you jump right back into the same intensity you were at before.
i'd say eat up (carbs and protein!), take some glutamine and rest as much as possible...
and have fun getting back into it...every muscle group is going to kill the first couple times...![]()
it's even worse today than yesterday
It takes time lobsterman trust me I think we all been through this. It takes a week to a week and a half. It sucks but it'll get better.
thanks for the replies dudes
You're new to this, huh?Originally Posted by Lobsterman

Also, the first time back is the worst. I'm pretty sure it has to do with muscle memory.
