Usually iuse about 2 grams per day.
During times of stress i may bump this to 10 grams per day
I do 15 grams a day and when I am sick I bang it up to 30g or until I get the shits. Johan will have plenty to say, he is the Vitamin C guru
I take 2grms daily apart form food.
8-10 grams of sodium ascorbate per day. i spread it out as much as possible, trying not to take much more than 1g per hour. And yes...Johan is the man when it comes to C.
Im in the 6-10g a day range while at school..over the summer 4-6g a day range
15g ed..wish I had found this dosage a few years ago

I use 18-22 grams a day when Im dieting, I find I lose bodyfat a little easier,and my energy levels through the day are much better.
Using Sodium ascorbate is pretty important for me. If I try taking anything over about 3 grams of ascorbic acid, I get the shits. Sodium ascorbate is much much easier on the intestines. A little more expensive, but when mega-dosing on Vit. C. it is well worth it.Quote:

Myka - constant low doses maybe, but not exceedingly high constant doses. University studies have shown that people consuming more than a couple grams of Vit.-C per day are at high risk of developing kidney stones. You really don't need more than a couple grams of Vitamin C per day. I don't take more than a gram or 2 a day unless I'm sick. But, take what I tell you and do what you want with it. Its your body...
