Uhm...ok...where specifically is the pain? Specifically what type of pain is it? Did the pain start after going through some sort of physical trauma?

its in the middle to upper back all the way to the neck and the shoulders. its a pain feeling like im being squeezed and stomped on etc. it started from my college. i ate as good as i can (actually very good for a college student). I played too many sports and did too many activities and slept on a hard as friggin hell mattress for an entire school year! it began in sept of 07 and continued to july 08 and stopped (only came in and out every so often) after. but it started again a few months ago and its hurt for a while. i was told to stop doing everything but due to those jack@$$ football coaches giving me these weight gain things that make u feel like complete garbage i cant rest and do nothing. i feel too fat just sittng down (like now-eventho i just walked my dog 3 miles!)

Go to the Chiropractor, I go after a leg day and deadlift day. I could not live without my adjustments.

easy with the old man jokes here son, lol. Seriously, if its that bad goto the doc. If not, try laying on the floor where its flat. I do this sometimes when I have pain in my back. And try alleve. Nothing helps me better for MUSCLE pain......jmo.....

You know what bud, I fractured my L2 vertebrae a few yrs back and it was the worst! I know what back pain is like. I'll tell you this, core core core!...your core is the most important thing that supports your body and helps with sooo many things. There are numerous exercises you can do, I recommend core stability exercises. On the swiss ball etc, just be creative. Be careful though, dont do anything that agravates it. Once I got my core strengthened through PT, I was good to go. Also, be care with running on hard surfaces until you get it figured out, or have a good pair of shoes. Lastly, make sure your doing your compound lifts correctly, or else they'll just F your back up even more. Hope that helps
