    Whats in your PWO shake?


    Mine is:

    1 cup Oats or 1 banana
    10g BCAA's
    10g Leucine
    5g Creatine Mono
    5-10g Beta-Alanine

    2-3g VitC
    5g Ome ga-3

    When Cutting I just have a strait protein drink

    When Bulking:
    2 Scoops EAS protien
    1/2 cup oats
    5g CM
    1-2 tablespoons of EVOO

    As of now:

    Whey
    Creatine
    Water.

    Once I get my blender for Christmas:

    Non Fat Milk
    2 scoops Whey
    Crushed Ice
    Creatine
    Bananna
    Strawberries
    O.m.e.g.a.-3

    I had a blender and it broke. Wife is getting me one that is about $115, and she agreed to clean my mess every morning

    This is after a piece of fruit and my immediate PWO shake, drink this at home.

    Clean bulking currently:

    1 scoop ON pro

    1/2 banana

    ice

    Shake followed by a pro/carb meal 30 min later

    Your combo can be dramatically improved by using Hydrolysate protein,I guess your dont follow Dr scott conlely.Also use during training.

    Also The lower the GI of your carbs the better PWO.

    That activated barley is the shit....Scary what that does....The best carb in the world!!!

    Its the best by far.

    casein hydrolysate.

    From around june this year,all the british olympic team use this protein,during and post.Nothing hits your body and refuels you the like this.

    Uh no i dont break it up in there. I just eat it alone with my PWO shake.

    i used to.....then changed to oats.....now udos oil.....mainly off what ive read in the diet section off some of the experienced members.....i read some good stuff off of Nark...C Bino......and lately TOP.....

    Looks good but I would think that 2 tbl spoons of EVOO would be a little much for pwo or anytime for that matter. Doesn't 1 tbl spoon have around 17g of fat?

    15 min later i have shake : oats/ banana/ whey

    yes its alot of carbs

    PWO Shake - 25 g whey
    12.5 g hydrolyzed whey providing 4 g BCAA alone!
    12.5 g casein
    1/c oats

    during day - sip on crystal lite w 8 g Leucine, 4 g arginine

    Ya I didn't know what EVOO was either. My shakes use to just be whey+water first starting out 5 years ago, then got into dextrose/maltodextrin. I will change things eventually after reading up but for now I'm just doing dextrose/maltodextrin. Is it okay to take in some fish oil or olive oil with my PWO shake if it's whey+dextrose/maltodextrin even if it's just a couple grams?

    14 grams or 120 Kcals per tablespoon according to the label. I guess maybe I only put one tablespoon in now that I think about it. I must say though I generally do a low or lower carb style diet both bulking or cutting with higher protein and good fats.

    right on, that makes more sense...I just thought that an excess of 20g of fat per meal to be a little much. 14g sounds ideal though
