Reverse grip bench press Good and Bad?
I really like this as something to throw into presses. i just alternate, but i was thinking of focusing more the reverse portion. i read that it activates the upper chest very well. i feel really good after a set. i don't suppose it matters. just thought i'd say something about my liking the lifting ex

I like doing reverse grip chest on the cable machine or chest press machine. I would never do reverse grip on barbell bench press, too dangerous IMO, one wrong slip or accident and game over. If you must, I would recommend doing the exercise on the squat rack with the safety bars as a safe guard.

Its VERY awkward for me. I don't even try doing them anymore. For myself, I see an injury coming from them.

I've read the same thing about the upper chest activation I tried it on regular barbell press and it hurt my wrist and felt really awkward..I do it on the chest press machine and it seems to work well but after heavy dumbbell and barbell presses iam so fatigued it's hard to say with any certainty..

Do these every so often but use them for triceps.
Usually do a straight set reverse grip ( or cg) into skulls.
Takes some getting used to. Try on smith machine first

If you can keep your form in check, using dumbbells is a nice variation but its hard to keep the DB's "reversed" at the bottom. I use an adjustable bench with a very slight decline which seems to help.
But I do the Barbell variant and I like it too.
