Has anyone heard of this fat burner
A friend of mine mentioned that he used to take a fat burner called alkantine (not sure if this is the correct spelling but its pronouned very similar). Ive never heard of this or seen it on the boards.
He said it gave him major shakes and raised his temperature so much he was visibly sweating wherever he went. I think he said its used on horses to make them run faster or something.
Has anyone of heard of this?

I think what you mean is L-Carnatine? Its not really a fat burner, but its a good supplment to take when you wanna cut up a bit. If you want to get some, dont get it in powder form, get it in injection form. Personally I have never used it, but people say its much better in injcection form, whereas the powder form is supposed to be totally crap, I dont know. Here is Aus you can buy it over the counter for $50 (50ml). Not sure how much it is wherever you are. Good luck.

The way he spelt it, and the way it sounds, it defenitely looks like he meant L-Carnatine

That's what it sounds like to me too.
And Huggy Bear, I've used the tab form in the past and it worked fairly well.
But as Gear said earlier, go for the injectible.
