how do the pros and top amateurs hide thier acne?
Now surely some pros and amateur bodybuilders get acne too. Do they just do a really good job of hiding it with pro tan or what????

I know they camoflauge stretch marks with bronzing oil and alot of tanning, but I would just think under those bright ass lights that acne would stand out like a sore thumb.

Accutane is harmful to the liver. They dont take accutane year around they do it once or twice to shrink their pores. Accutane is permanent so you dont have to keep taking it.

From what my doc told me, accutane has some pretty bad sides:
Hard on the liver
Known to cause depression
Dries out all the skin
chapped lips with cuts and stuff (Ive had friends who got some nasty ass fever blisters around their mouth)
Just take some b5 instead, it seems to work real well for many people (not all) and has virtualy no sides.

I took accutane a couple years ago. It works really well if you don't mind getting a blood test every four weeks and going through a stick of chapstick every day. I went from pizza face to completely clear in about 6 months. It's not a magical cure for acne though.. You will still get it occasionally, but it takes it from out of control, to under control... I just use some topical creams now when it flares up.
I would only take it if you have a really bad problem with it.... while you're on it it constantly feels like you have a sun burn on your face, and don't plan on going on any dates... your face sheds skin constantly.

anhydro, if your derm is a good one, he won't prescribe accutane to you unless you have severe acne and have tried the other medications..........its not stuff to mess with

i took accutane in high school. My acne wasnt that bad, I just wanted it gone. Worked like a charm, and now I get maybe 1 noticeable zit about every 2 months. Even when I was on cycle i rarely got them. Just keep that blistex with you at ALL times if you take it. The dry lips and slower healing were the only sides i got. I skinned my elbow playing bball outside and it never really healed. It got infected and I had to go to the doc.

Tetracycline HCL. Works for me.
See the Doc or go to a feed store and get it OTC.

one really bad thing i noticed with accutane was that it dryed out your joints real bad. when i was on it i had to tell my basketball coach i couldn't go in because my knees were hurting so bad. the nose bleeds sucked alot too.
