Same syringe each time?
I was wondering, do you guys just change the needle everytime or do you use an entirely new syringe

New everything. New syringe, needle, loader needle, alcohol swab. Safety and sanitation first.

not only different syringe but 2 needles per shot.. 1 needle to get the "stuff" out of the vial/ampule then screw it off, slap on a new one and use that one to inject yourself. Dont be cheap and be safe brotha.

Same here!!
New everthing every time... and sometimes I'll use 3 needles if the first time doesnt go in the way I want it to!
I tried once to use a needle after pulling it out and then trying to jab a new spot, and I could tell how dull it had become!!!
Someone should post the needle under HIGH magnification pictures after 1 and a few uses!

2 new needles and one new syringe every time. Why risk an infection? You can order this stuff from ARR for next to nothing.

Always use a new syringe! They are cheap and you really dont want an infection.

Probably worse than an abscess is hepatitis. I have had numerous older patients that are living on social security checks that can't afford their insulin needles. They wash them out with alcohol ... yuck. Improper needle usage has caused hepatitis induced cirrhosis which leads to liver failure ... which in turn causes encephalopathy (confusion caused by the inability of the liver to breakdown NH4 or ammonia, which builds up in the blood and is toxic to the brain), then the final result is death. Mortality rate is high in cases such as this ... so BEWARE. I advocate not re-using needles ... not because of the annoying incidence of abscesses (which are easily treatable) but because of DEATH!
