I heard its not safe to take painkillers while on cycle. Its just that i slept on a couch lastnight and i have the siffist neck right now. Its killin me. Should i stay away from painkillers and juts take advil or tylenol for the neck cramps?

I suppose it could be because of the added stress certain painkillers/anti-inflamatories put on the kidneys or liver?

It may be because nsaids can inhibit protein synthesis to some degree, also.

yeah the only study i've seen on Nsaids showed that but it was when they were taken immediately after exercise...taking some painkillers shouldnt be that hard on your liver, i take Ultram, Soma and Lodine on a regular basis, along with methtrexate for RA, but i supplement with heavy liver protectants...just had a blood test and everything's fine...taking a few painkillers every now and then isnt going to be a problem...

Yeah..I like Ultram alot. That and Vicoden are the only painkillers I can play ball on...

Alleve is a little harsh on the liver, from what I read...

I have no problem with using any of them, on or off cycle.

naproxin(alieve) and ibuprofen (motrin, advil) are killer on the liver and should be avoided at all cost while on.

Touchy subject for me, i got addicted to Loratabs, then escalted to Oxy, then a full blown herion addiciton. Lost everything that was important to me. Please be VERY carefull with Narcotics, too many times people think Juice and Narcotics go hand in hand and the most certanly do not! Things arent a game just becuase they come from a doc...

Opiate derivatives (pain killers) are hard on the liver. If your using injectables at a reasonable dose you'll prob be fine for a day or two. I don't like to use them because they **** my appetite. I do well on advil for mild pain. Muscle pain, like neck pain can often be, can sometimes be helped by muscle relaxers. Yum
