I know that clomid has a pretty long half life, that is why it is recommended to split up the doses one in the morning and one in the evening. I am not exactly sure how long it stays in your system when you are done.
I answered a post about Clomid and depression, IMO the depression does not come with the clomid but with the lack of hormones in your body. I did Clomid for three weeks my last time, and about the 2nd week, I was over my depression. Even while doing clomid the third week I was fine. so the answer to your question is yes.

If you split the dosages up during the day doesnt that mean it has a short half life. If it had a long half life then you can take one pill a day and not worry about it. I dont understand

Clomid does havea long half life. I believe it is estimated at up to 5 days. No need to split the doses, unless it just makes you feel better.
