norditropin pen universal vs. mixing water/gh in insulin needle

HI everybody, i was using jinotropin and then serono. I used to have the case, with the sterile water in a little bottle and the gh in the other bottles. Now, i can only get my hands on the norditropin pen universal , each pen has almost 70 or 60 iu.since its now coming for a doctor. Any difference? When i was injecting in the jinotropin using a normal insulin needle i would feel a small bump in the injection area, but with the norditropin pen, i cant seem to feel the bump area. weird?

this can t be true. the max. dosage of nordritropin pens ist 15mg aka 45iu.

hey gear, i just checked, its norditropen(nordilet somatropin) 5mg/1.5 ml with 70iu inside. I just want to make sure, how much would 10iu be, would it be exactly 10iu on the pen?

lol 5mg are 15iu not 70iu. if your source told u that he screwt u massively!

on the pen the numbers go all the way up to 70, it goes by 5, starting from 5 to 10 .. and so forth. the pen says on the cover 5mg/1.5 ml, what i am askin is if i wana take out 10 iu, how much do i pull out 5 , 10, 20 what ? thankx

I have never seen such a pen. pls post a pic. is it a nord***exx prefilled pen or a norditropin simplex + pen? anyways: there is no pen from any company that holds 70 iu. not a single one! and norditropin produces only 5mg aka 15iu, 10mg aka 30 iu and a 15iu version aka 45iu. thats it.

its norditropen 5mg/1.5 ml nordilet manufacturer: novo nordisk. ur telling me the whole pen only has 15 iu in it?

yes, read the link. it s the website from the manufacturer novo nordirsk from denmark. they only produce those 3 pens and the only one with a higher amount is the green one, with 45 iu aka 15mg.

you got screwt, if your source told u its 70iu in the orange pen with 5mg aka 15iu.

The conversion of IU or mU to mg is 3:1. For example, a mean starting dose of 0.6 IU is equivalent to 0.2 mg/day.
