    Bone Bruise on femur

My ankle was trapped under a bar as I fell, inverting my leg from the knee down. Basically I was laying on the ground looking at my right heel instead of my toes.

Amazingly nothing tore but MRI showed deep bone bruising where femur meet tibia at knee joint. A bruise sounds like it would be no big deal but 3 weeks from injury and still can't take knee past 90 degree when trying to bend it.

Anyone had similar experience? Wondering about healing time? Told doc I would do PT myself but thinking about reconsidering if I can't move it better after a month. Any input is appreciated.

That sounds like it was painful. May want to get a second opinion on the inury if it doesn`t improve soon.

Cautionary tale to rack F'ing plates/bars when lifting! Doc said lifting/stretching likely saved anything from tearing.
